An Introduction

Hello to all who venture to this blog!

My name is Daniel Cleary and I have been fortunate to travel quite a bit during my 25 years on this giant rock we call Earth. A majority of my adventures have been through my work as a young geologist, a job that has allowed me to get off the beaten path quite frequently. But what makes this blog different from every other travel blog? Well, I’ve never read any others so I’m not entirely sure. What I can say is that this blog will be a collection of true stories from my experiences in a variety of places in different countries. I always intended on keeping a journal when I traveled, however I could never commit to the practice. As a result these stories will not be in any chronological order, but will instead be as I remember them. I try to keep a humorous perspective on things so hopefully these tales will be intriguing and induce a few respectable giggle fits. You may be be saying to yourself,”Now that is a fantastic introduction to a travel blog! Where will he take us first?”. Well everyone, stay tuned and enjoy!
